I'm always looking for collaborators!
History of Science
I study the history of zoos, taxonomy, and the birth and development of natural history museums and their collections. I'm currently researching the history of primate type specimens and how many were captive-derived.
Primate Feeding Ecology
Most of my work involves following lemurs around to find out what they eat! I look at the nutritional composition and mechanical challenge of these foods as well as record the behaviors used to acquire them.
Museum Specimen Studies
My morphological studies have included: primate dental morphology, wear, and pathologies, and long bone diaphyseal cross-sectional morphology as it relates to locomotion in captive and wild primate.
